HustleMill- What's Joe Scudda been up to lately?
Joe Scudda- Lately I just been up to finishing the EP ..Not Your Average Joe ...dropping Jan. 11th! Also been working on a album with Statik Selektah and putting the finishing touches on the FASHIONABLY LATE album dropping later this year.

HustleMill- What can listeners expect to hear from you on your forthcoming project Fashionably Late?
Joe Scudda- On Fashionably Late people will hear nothing but the world as I see it through my eyes. What has gone on in my life and what I’m all about. A very truthful album. I touch a lot of subjects that have a lot to do with my life.

HustleMill- Who are you working with on the project?
Joe Scudda- Well so far the usual suspects from the HOJ, of course extended family like Evidence and Alchemist...Sid Roams. Some new cats also...not really a lot of features cause I’ve been known for my feature work but I need to give people more Joe Scudda.

HustleMill- Who would you like to work with that you haven't already?
Joe Scudda- I’d really love to work with Outkast, Ice Cube & Scarface!

HustleMill- What makes the Reservoir Dogs Mixtape, different from some of the other HOJ projects?
Joe Scudda- The Reservoir Dogs mixtape was such a MIXTAPE!! A lot of the mixtapes we do over at HOJ are more mini albums cause most of the songs are all original...this was more taking it back to the late 90's era style tapes. Just going in over different beats and making it our own! DJ mixing and scratching......that’s why there will never be a NON DJ version! So please people stop asking (laughs).

HustleMill- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Joe Scudda- In 5 years I hope to have put a handful of albums out and toured the world...again. HOJ going stronger than ever and me being apart of owning my own bar!

HustleMill- What can fans expect from Joe Scudda in 2010?
Joe Scudda- 2010 for me is the PUT UP or SHUT UP year. From the EP to maybe a part 2 to it...to the album FASHIONABLY LATE, to shows and everything!! 2010 is the year I really just make my stamp. I just want to [get] the music in the peoples hands. Especially the people that have been so patient with me on dropping music and still ride with me!! I got a lot of love for those people.

HustleMill- You've also done a little bit of acting, what's on your resume for those that don't know and can we see you getting into more roles in the future?
Joe Scudda- I did a episode of FX's The Shield called "Rap Payback"....that was a lot of fun!! That was my first acting gig EVER, .and something I wouldn’t mind getting into but my focus is music right now!!

HustleMill- I heard you recently opened up a restaurant correct? What is it and could you tell us a little bit about it?
Joe Scudda- (huge laugh)....that was fucking Alchemist being funny!! I wish I did (laughs)....it was all from a picture he took.

HustleMill- What are some of your most proud moments in your career so far?
Joe Scudda- Just being recognized by people I respect and rappers & producers I grew up on as being a dope emcee!!!

HustleMill- Aside from Joe Scudda the emcee, how would you describe yourself as a person?
Joe Scudda- I’mma easy going dude....blue collar type guy! That’s why I called my EP the NOT YOUR AVERAGE JOE EP...because to being regular or blue collar in rap seems to be so far from the norm. I just like to have fun in everything I do. I work hard and PLAY HARDER!!

HustleMill- Is there anything else you would like to plug?
