HustleMill- What makes Lo-Keys different from your average artist?
Lo Keys- Well I believe it’s the energy. Weather I am in the studio or performing live I think the energy counts the most. When I am creating the music I love to have good energy around me. It makes me work great. When the vibe is right I can create the kind of music I love. Now when it comes to shows interacting with the fans is what does it for me. Making a fan feel the same feeling I feel is a big thing. I want the people who are there to enjoy my craft to enjoy themselves as much as possible.

HustleMill- How would you describe yourself as an artist?
Lo Keys- As an artist I feel like I am very versatile. When you hear my music that appears on mix tapes it’s very over the top. Very slick, flashy and witty on the flipside though the music that I have built up for the album is very concept related. A lot of the music involves different situations that I have been through in my lifetime and also situations I have seen people that are very close to me go through. Basically I have music for every type of person and every type of situation. I am always open to new ideas when it comes to the music because being innovative is the key.
