The "TimeEvident Mix" is a collection of material from various
MindsOne albums along with collaberations and unreleased music from
the MindsOne catalog circa 2000-2010. The crew's DJs, Slim Deluxe and
Noumenon, handle the mixing of the project as only two seasoned true
school turntablists can.

I mean it probably makes sense on some level, but I'm still waiting for a label industry head to break down the economics of multi-platinum rappers releasing mixtapes. What are we talking about, practice? On this week's edition of Where Is Hip Hop? Randy and I discuss the new releases from Bawse and The King (Rick Ross & T.I.). I rocks with The King's catalog all day, but Lil Duval's skit is one of the best tracks off F*ck A Mixtape. As far as Bawse, Ricky is a good rapper and the beats are stupid but I'm still questioning his authenticity as an official certified snowman. 9th Wonder's Lady of Lyrics, Rapsody, has released a collection of her own this month.  "Rapsody Replay" is a mixtape of sounds & lyrics from 2007 to 2010. "Rapsody Replay" consist of 15+ tracks that features some of the North Carolina's well-known and up & coming artists/producers. Guest Appearances on this collection include Kooley High, E. Jones, Big Remo, and Lazurus (just to name a few).

On this week's edition of Where Is Hip Hop? Randy and I discuss the movement that is Travis Porter. The trio recently released a new mixtape Distant Cousins. I'm loving it and Randy has crowned it the best album of 2010. What's interesting about this collaboration is it seems more different artists running in separate lanes are coming together to release material. Raleigh, NC's Tab-One (of Kooley High) recently released Monster's Ink with Bay-Area emcee Lefty and 9th Wonder has two collab albums this year as well (with Murs and David Banner).

Last, Randy drops the announcement about The Almost Famous Show: Columbia, SCedition, presented by Versus Entertainment Group and Million Dollar Dreamz.
